Great weather and great participation from those who were there.  Also, a great big Hangar 9 deHavilland “Beaver”, spanning 110” and powered by A DLE 35RA, showed up as Bob maidened his Giant Scale plane for next weekend’s meet in Guthrie.  The plane performed perfectly, if you discount the two clicks of right aileron it took to trim the plane to a “hands-off” flight envelope.  Troops were also entertained by the two “Avanti” EDFs flown in tandem by Brent and Harold.  In all, a late Spring day to be thankful for as the heat of summer creeps closer....
